He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jefka and Freda Jefka. He is survived by: his wife Susan Jefka; his children, Eve Jefka (Jonathan Luedee) of Newfoundland, Canada and Ben Jefka (Julia) of Vermont; his grandsons, Owen Luedee, Isaac Jefka and Max Jefka; and his brother Myron Jefka (Corinna) of Michigan. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
