He is survived by: his wife Wilma Louis Brummer (Danielle); his children, Kevin Ray Smoot (Gina) of Frederick Colorado, Craig Steven Smoot (Alison) of Broomfield and Carolyn Lynn Smoot of Erie Colorado; his sister-in-law Darlene Smoot of Miltonvale, Kansas; his grandchildren, Shara Lyn Johnson, Benjamin Smoot, Zachary Smoot, Scott Smoot, Brittany Anderson, Robert Burger, Stephen Burger, Trinity Ruiz and Tayten Ruiz; and his great grandchildren, Damien Anderson, Liam Anderson, Rylen Burger, Jaxen Burger, Atreus Johnson and Charli Wilder Smoot. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
