It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal R. Cooper (Longmont, Colorado), who passed away on February 7, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Atlas R. DePriest and Evelyn L. DePriest (Pippenger); her husband Edward R. Cooper; and her brother Carl DePriest. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Cooper (Kathy) of Dacono, CO, Charles Cooper of Kersey, CO and Shelby Cooper (Erin) of Berthoud, CO; her sister Doris Ballard of Longmont, CO; her grandchildren, Jayson (Stacie), Jamie (Casey), Stephanie (Josh), Derek (Shay), Paige (Cody), Alyssa (Jamison), Kamille, Sydney, Marcus, Hailey and Abigail; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Devin, Chloe, Finley, Kaylynn, Jordan, Zuri, Lucas, Zayden and Christian. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
