He is survived by : his brother Robert Demers (Diane) of Springfield, VT; his daughters, Kaarina Demers of Longmont, CO and Kristi Bathgate of Suffield, CT; his son-in-law Jason Bathgate of Stafford Springs, CT; his adoptive son Michael Paradise of Mansfield, MO; his grandchildren, Maya Demers of Longmont, CO, David Demers of Lynnwood, WA and Quinn Bathgate of Suffield, CT; his brother-in-law James Eko; his cousins, Lillian Govoni and John Donahue; and his nieces, Michelle, Nicole, Melissa and Alison.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Howe Mortuary & Crematory (439 Coffman St, Longmont, CO 80501).
