He was predeceased by: his father D. Gene Armstrong; and his nephew Michael Armstrong. He is survived by: his mother LaVonne Armstrong; his close friend Lynda Christensen; his siblings, Naomi Young (Nigel) of Alaska, Tanya Hawkins (Craig) of Colorado and Kevin Armstrong (Karri) of Tennessee; his half-sisters, Barbara Edmaiston of Texas and Kay Scott of Alabama; and also Brandyn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
