With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tomas Alvarez (Longmont, Colorado), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorenzo Alvarez and Juanita Alvarez; and his siblings, Severance, Rebecca, Lawrence and Albert.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Bernadette (Paul) and Carlos (Wendy); his grandchildren, Heather, Amanda and Bailey; and his siblings, Felix, Manuel Alvarez, Isabel Bara, Rosa Barrera, Juanita Garcia and Veronica French.

A reception will be held from 4 p.m. - 7: -00 p.m. at the American Legion Post 32 located at 315 South Bowen Street Longmont, Colorado 80501, In lieu of flowers, contributions in Tomas' memory may be made to OUR Center or Meals on Wheels.
