She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Jensen and Jeannie Jensen; and her husband Gary D. LaSalle. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina (Brandon Worthan) of Pagosa Springs, Brenda of Akron and Alicia of Spring Hill, Florida.; her siblings, Hannah Dolph (Don), Glenda Ranum (Ken) and Jim Jensen (Pennie); and her grandchildren, Jason Cooley, Ian Becker, Kayla Becker, Oryha LaSalle, Athena Worthan, Mason Shaver, David LaSalle and Aurora LaSalle.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in Velda's honor to the VFW.
