Though Virginia Joy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Virginia Joy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob; and her parents, John Sewell and Phoebe Sewell. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Sorber (Bill), Larry Stephenson (Lottie), Lynn Stephenson (Glenda) and Lonnie Stephenson (Lori). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Darrel Howe Mortuary. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Izaak Walton Clubhouse (18 S Sunset St, Longmont, CO 80501).
