He is survived by: his wife Dianne Kay Prout; his children, Cristin Sherwood (Patrick), Michelle Kramer (Tom), Sarah Prout Golobic and Jonathan Prout; his grandchildren, David, William, Liam, Henry, Anna, Rachel, Eli, Grey, Jameson and Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Peter and Michael.
