She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Kimple and Julie Kimple (Cooney). She is survived by : her children, Cathi Doherty (Rick Herman) of Frederick, Jim Doherty Jr. (Kelly) of Loveland, Pat Doherty (Candy) of Loveland, Mary McQuade (Paul) of Loveland, Tom Doherty of Lakewood and Liz Simon (Bernie) of Loveland; her sister Helen Lawson; her husband Jim; her son Matthew; and her grandson Kale Simon. She is also survived by 18 loving grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
