She was predeceased by: her parents, Estella Elizabeth McDougall and John Smith Strachan; her brothers, Kenneth Gordon (Betty), Edwin Duane (Lynn) and John Louis Strachan (Vada); and her nephew Duane Scott Strachan. She is also survived by four nephews, two nieces, several cousins, grandnieces and grandnephews.
