We announce the death of Garrett Jackson Hemeyer (Loveland, Colorado), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 25. Garrett will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Roy Lee Hemeyer and Kathryn Jane Hemeyer. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Lee Hemeyer and Christina Marie Medrano-Hemeyer; his children, Nicholas, Kevin, Megan, Ben and Aidan; his sister Kamran Nicole Hemeyer-Martin (Tate Martin); his niece Tatum Martin; his nephew Knox Martin; his sister Juliet Mackenzie Hemeyer; and his grandparents, Arturo, Clara Irene Rodriguez, Robert and Cherry Medrano. He is also survived by cousins, extended family members, and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church (807 W 29th St, Loveland, CO 80538). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church - Cypress (29900 US-290, Cypress, TX 77433).
