With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Mellott of Loveland, Colorado, who passed away on December 19, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Mellott and Ila Mellott; his sister Carol Jean; and his brother-in-law Steve. He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his sons, Mike of Colorado Springs and Rick of Carr, Colorado.; his brother Donn; and his sister-in-law Carol Ann. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
