He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Reed and Doris Reed; and his siblings, Janice and Jerry. He is survived by: his sons, Chad (Ofelia), Pete (Bobbi Jo Pierce), Benjamin (Chelsea Reed) and Alex (Crystal Reed); his grandchildren, Jay, Daniel, Will, Ava, Julia, MaKenna, Katelyn and Cole; and his wife Marsha.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, honoring Jay's lifelong love and compassion for children.
