He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Berndsen; his children, Jeff Berndsen (Annette), Allyson Womack (Paul), Cyndy Cordell (Kyle) and Wyndy Rice (Richard); and his stepchildren, Billie Jo Downing, Jenny Lee Ballard and Brent Downing. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
