Joseph will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Joseph by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Joseph is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Joseph’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Marilyn August; his parents, Joseph August Sr. and Stasia August; and his sister Jane Wechsler. He is survived by: his wife Dianne August; and his children, Matthew, Jennifer, Michael, Megan and Brooke. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary Derby Hill (207 19th St SE, Loveland, CO 80537).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation (https://leukemiarf.org), or that loved ones honor Joe's memory by learning something new, sharing a laugh, or spending time with family.
