He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmitt Starlin and Myrtle Starlin (Fletcher); his wife Deanna Starlin; his daughter Cathy Hyndman; his grandson Nolan Hockensmith; and his siblings, Clyde, Harold and Roberta.
He is survived by: his children, Vicki Lucero (Efren) of Laporte, CO, Shireen Hockensmith (Dan) of Lingle, WY, Michelle Gilmore (Rocky) of Severance, CO, Brian Starlin (Emma) of Seattle, WA and Julie Bishop (Jim) of Linden, IA; his grandchildren, Jason Gaona, Henry Gaona, Antonia Lecciso, Sharlene Haas, Tabitha Pierson, Emmalee Hollinden, Jenniffer Coons, James Starlin, Bonnie Lynn Clemons, Kenny Starlin, Blake Sanders, Micah Massey, Lawson Massey, Denver Massey and Naomi Bishop; and his sisters, Carol Gillmore and Karla Starlin-Hall. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
