He was predeceased by: his father Walter Boden; his wife Jan; his siblings, LeeRoy Boden, Donnavan Boden, Janice Bouc (Ken) and Linda Schole (Boden); and his nephews, Darrin Bouc and Jeff Boden.
He is survived by: his mother Trientje "Tena" Boden (Kelle); his sisters, Ardis Wentz (Ken) of Sterling, NE and Mary Waddington (Boden) of Phoenix, AZ; his siblings-in-law, Jackie Boden of Sterling, NE and Ben Schole of Hooper, NE; and his niece Kaye R. Boden (Jacobson) of Loveland, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
