She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothe Hepperlen (Van Vranken) and Joseph Hepperlen; and her husband Dick Mead. She is survived by: her children, Susan (Webb Jones) of Santa Fe, Sarah (Pat O'Dea) of Berthoud and John (Susan) of Roseville; her grandchildren, Miranda Reese (Jon), Denny Walker (Kyle), Spencer Mead (Halee Novotny) of Lakeville and Eli Mead (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Tionna, Lincoln, Jackson Walker and Everly Mead.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Francis Episcopal Church (14 E 20th St, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be sent to Panhandle Humane Society or Women for Women International.
