He was predeceased by: his parents, Whetsel Allen and Wilda Allen; and his daughter Jonna. He is survived by: his sisters, Laverne and Eva Ruth; his wife Lillian Lambert; his daughters, Vicki Shaffer (Vince) and Rhonda Thompson (Shane); his grandchildren, Justin Shaffer (Savanna), Allen Shaffer, Patrick Thompson (Emma Claire), AJ Shaffer (Arianna), Emma Thompson, Colton Shaffer, Ellie Bjornestad (Konner), Wyatt Shaffer (Samantha), Becky Shaffer and Lynnlee Shaffer; his great grandchildren, Caroline, Timothy, Chase, Evangeline, Grayson, Cooper and Wesley; and his brother Frank Meyers.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Summit Lake Community Church (36501 CO-184, Mancos, CO 81328). A burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Summit Ridge Cemetery.
