Ruben will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his daughter Patricia; and his parents, Juan Maestas and Evarista Maestas. He is survived by: his children, Ruben (Cindy), Sharon (Ed), Leonard, Michael, Steven (Lesa), Evarista (Jeff) and Sandra (Joe); and his wife Frances Martinez. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Rita of Cascia Catholic Church (203 S Main St, Mancos, CO 81328). A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
