He is survived by: his wife Jane Katherine Hart; his sister Michelle Johnson (Scott); his sons, Daniel and Thomas; his stepson Joel Thomas (Alex); his children, Lynn Hart, Katherine Mosier (Rich) and Shay; his brother-in-law Jim Davis (Kathy); his nieces and nephews, Jennifer and Andrea Davis (Sean); his sister-in-law Margaret Klausner (Harold); and his nibling Lauren.

In lieu of flowers it is requested by the family to donate to the Manitou Springs Fire Department in Steve's name.
