In loving memory of Connie Torrez of McClave, Colorado, born in La Junta, Colorado, who departed this world on May 26, 2025 at the age of 70. She was predeceased by: her parents, John M. Torrez and Josephine Torrez (Munoz). She is survived by: her siblings, Rosalia Torrez, Hilbert Torrez (Gwen) of Rye, CO, Manuel Torrez (Alicia) of McClave, CO, Juanita Hernandez (Mike) of Lamar, CO, John Torrez (Pat) of Westminster, CO, Antonia Torrez of McClave, CO, Joe Torrez (Kathy) of Greeley, CO, James Torrez (Amanda) of Hasty, CO and Frank Torrez of McClave, CO.; and her nephews, Johnny, Kiel, Garrett, Angeleah, Jarrod, Carlos (Tina), Ben (Chasity), Jaleesa, Ricky, Ronald, Eric (Alisha) and Tyler (Ebony). She is also survived by numerous grand-nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peacock Funeral Home (209 S 4th St, Lamar, CO 81052). A burial will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McClave Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southeastern Developmental Services either direct or in care of the funeral home office.
