He is survived by: his wife Vicki Shook; his sons, Ryan Shook and Garrett Shook (Hannah); his brother Stephen Shook (Terri); his granddaughter Iris Shook; his stepsons, Caleb Staton and Casey Staton (Claire); his sisters-in-law, Gina Helton and Jody Biscamp (Jimmy); his nephew Taylor Shook (Erin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Quinn and Leo Shook; his nephew Chase White; his nieces and nephews, Ricky Ballard, Cody Ballard, Brittany Hoffpauir and Shayna Ballard; Harper White.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Funeral Home (4321 Lake St, Lake Charles, LA 70605). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
