He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Glenn Sessions and Alice Sessions; wife: Pat; daughter: Michelle (Donny Sandquist); son: Byron Sessions; grandchildren: Joshua Sandquist (his son Wyatt), Tristan (TJ) Sandquist (Bree), Trace Sandquist, Rio Sessions, and Sky Sessions (Natalia Sierra-Sessions); siblings: Ron Sessions, Sharon (Rex Ladd), Les Sessions (Betty), and Sue (Danny Skalla); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Vicki Sessions, Paul Unrein (Lorraine), Marilyn (Larry Luft), Bob Schneider (Kathy), George Kloberdanz (Janet), and Lynette Yetter; parents-in-law: George Kloberdanz and Isabelle Kloberdanz; brother-in-law: Allen Yetter; infant sister: Linda; nephew: Brian Sessions; friends: Dwayne; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and colleagues.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Eckley Community Center (201 S Catchpole St, Eckley, CO 80727).

Memorials may be made in Doug's name to Eckley Community Center or Wray Scouts Troop 35.
