He is survived by: his wife Sandra Lee Dower; his son Andy Schendel (Deena); his son-in-law Todd Barger; his grandchildren, Adam Schendel (Logan), Drew Schendel (Julie Brown), Zach Barger and Lauren Barger (Stefan); and his great grandchildren, Braydon, Tinsley, Duane, Emily, Suede Schendel and Landon Schendel.
