He was predeceased by: his parents, Willa Mae Barger and Andie Joe Fry; and his son Brandon Fry. He is survived by: his wife Susan Kay Kearns (Welton) of Delta; and his children, Shannon Fry of Paonia, Trisha Workman (Brian) of Colorado Springs, Loren Welton (Megan) of Eckert, Andy Fry (Falicity) of Rifle and Natalie McKelvey (Eric) of Delta. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crossroads Church (515 S Hillcrest Dr, Montrose, CO 81401). A reception was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
