He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Robert S. Trevino and Aurelia Hinojos Trevino; his cousin Manuel E. Trevino of Milliken; and his uncles, Robert Trevino of California, Robert V. Trevino and Jose V. Trevino of Ft. Worth Texas.

He is survived by : his parents, John J Villareal and Alamar Villareal (Trevino); his spouse Afton Luna; his children, John Robert Able Villareal and Silvia Marie Villareal; his sisters, Jennifer and Jessica; and his nieces, Penelope, Emelia and Sophia.
