She was predeceased by : her parents, Eppie Martinez and Eufelia Martinez (Valdez); her brother Eppie Joe Martinez; her nephew Nick Martinez; and her niece Wanda Martinez.
She is survived by : her close friend James "Jimmy" Donald Lee Romero; her husband James "Jimmy" Romero of Monte Vista; her children, Lynn Romero-Gonzales (Kent) of Monte Vista, James Donald Lee Romero, Jr. (Andrea Gutierez) of Monte Vista and Joyce Rita Paulson (Ryan Edwards) of Monte Vista; her grandchildren, Krystal Owsley (Matthew), James Romero (Jasmine), Keith Romero (Savannah), Anfernee Romero (Krista), Antoine Gomez (Bobbie) and Aeneas Gomez; her great grandchildren, Zanayla, Marquez, Evanaya, Gunner, Jamiyah, Jalayah, Kyden, Kylah, Jacie, Levi and Xyrie; her siblings, Ernie Martinez (Sandra) and Frances Chavez (Frank); and her sister-in-law Laura Chacon Martinez. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
