She is survived by: her daughter Yvonne Galindo (Ben Maestas); her grandchildren, Jessica Ornelas, Elycet Whitmore (Richard), Joel Abril, Kiara Fresquez (Aaron), Cienna Villabos and Ashlee David; her great grandchildren, Marco, Zayli Ornelas, Aubrielle Whitmore, Ian Fresquez and Jayceon Martínez; her brothers, Joe Salazar (Sylvia), Amarante Salazar (Marilyn), Toby Salazar (Charlotte Lewis), Leonard Salazar (Frances) and Kenneth Salazar (Anna); and her siblings' children, Donna Chacon (Alex) and Gary Salazar.
