He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Ray (Carol) and Dorthy Holt Ray (Richard Follman); and his siblings, Taylor Ray and Roxanna Ruth. He is survived by: his wife Susan Ray; his children, Krislyn "Krissy" Grett (Tom), Zachary Ray (Erin), Tina Allec (Mike), Tim Deltonto and Brenda Adamson (Alexi); his sister Sheila Menzel; his grandchildren, Karsyn Grett, Emory Ray, Lily Ray, Alicia Hite, Zach Allec, Nichole Allec, Cole Grett and Payton Grett; and his great grandchildren, Avery Hite, Adelyn "Ady" Hite, Remy Mays, Harrison Grett, Sullivan Grett and Banx Thomas Cortez. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 29th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Elks Lodge (801 S Hillcrest Dr, Montrose, CO 81401).
