He is survived by: his wife Nancy VanRiper; his children, Lisa, Kelley, Brian (Erika) and Lori; his grandchildren, Austin, Samantha, Dylan, Connor, Josie and Colton; his sisters, Janet and Sharon (Steve); and his siblings-in-law, Lael VanRiper, Terry Mason and Rick VanRiper. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers or gifts the family kindly requests donations go to the Montrose Regional Heath/San Juan Cancer Center in Ken's name.
