We are sad to announce that on August 28, 2022, at the age of 88, Lendell S Chasten of Montrose, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Chasten (Chitwood) and Elree Chasten; his sons, Christopher Lynn Chasten (Gloria) of Farmington, NM and Albert Abeyta; his siblings, Lester Chasten, Bob Chasten, Cecil Chasten, Vesta Butler, Estafay Harrington and Glenda Griffith; and his grandsons, Shane Abeyta and Andrew Chasten.
He is survived by: his wife Rose of Montrose, CO; his children, Rick Chasten (Robyn) of Montrose, CO, Cameron Chasten (Monica), Duane Abeyta of Grand Junction, CO, Len Chasten of Copperton, UT and Annette Marquez of Canon City, CO; and his siblings, Paul Chasten (Susan) of Joplin, MO, Doug Chasten (Linda) of Joplin, MO and Sharon Southwick (James) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
