He is survived by: his wife Edith Sumpter of Montrose, CO; his children, Lynne Hawks (Danny), Lou Ann Gavell (Larry), Lori Frost, Brian Bennigsdorf (Barb) and Steve Bennigsdorf (Tracy); his grandchildren, Michael Hawks (Laura), Kellie Reed (Eddie), Travis Hawks (Jackie), Amy Gavell, Megan Gavell, Scott Gavell, Brandon Frost (Aimee), Kevin Frost (Elishah), Jennifer (Kelly Kibel), Kristen (Kevin English), Tyler Bennigsdorf (Heather), Heather Bullis, Brad Bennigsdorf, Zach Lyons and Ryan McMullan; and his siblings, Darrell, Lonnie (Marva) and Carol Miller. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren and one great- great granddaughter and many nieces, nephews, extended family.
