She was predeceased by: her father Peter Melchiori; her husband William Patton; her sons, Mark Giese and Ronald Giese; her brother Robert Melchiori; and her grandsons, Nicholas Giese and Joseph Null.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Null of Mosca, CO, Robert Giese (Robin) of Ocala, FL and Shari Lange (Scott) of Oswego, IL; her grandsons, Christopher Lange (Michelle) of Montgomery, IL, Gary Null of Mendota, IL, Maxwell Giese of Mancos, CO, Austin Null of Mosca, CO and Jonathan Corlas of Rochester, NY; and her great grandchildren, Lily Lange of Montgomery, IL and JD Null of Center, CO. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
