He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Smith and Novey R. Smith; and his brother-in-law John Rhoads. He is survived by: his wife Karen Smith of Fort Garland, CO; his children, Rodney Smith (Denise) of Mosca, CO, T. J. Smith (Victoria) of Palisade, CO, Brenda Pace (Joey) of Pueblo, CO and Kim Archuleta (Teddy) of Alamosa, CO.; and his siblings, Myrrl Smith (Kathi) of Blanca, CO, Jerry Smith (Barbara) of Blanca, CO, Karen Rhoads and Frosty. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Blanca Church (607 Broadway Ave, Blanca, CO 81123). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Blanca Cemetery.
