She was predeceased by: her husband Gilbert Gurule; and her sons, Thomas Maes and Robert Maes. She is survived by: her children, Jo Ann Woods and Richard Maes (Lisa); her granddaughters, Jennifer Picchione (Dan), Sara Self (Dylan), Amy Maes (Josh Bonds) and Jillian Patterson; and her great grandchildren, Alyssa Maes, Gage Maes, Riley Self, Gianna Self and Elizabeth Self.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Parish (11385 Grant Dr, Northglenn, CO 80233). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:50 PM at the Fort Logan National Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
