He is survived by: his wife Helen Schaffner; his son Lyle Anthony Schaffner; his daughter-in-law Jayme Schaffner; his grandsons, Jason, Jaxton Schaffner and Brody Benton; his son-in-law Max Benton; and his siblings, Raymond, Jean, Sandy, Frank and Bill. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.
