The passing of David Ronald Sacchetta (Ordway, Colorado), born in Durango, Colorado leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 25, 2025 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Francis Sacchetta and Reatha Sacchetta (Cundiff); his son Eric Michael Sacchetta; and his in-laws, George and Grace Doak.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sacchetta of Olney Springs; his sisters, Lila Pohlenz of Colorado Springs and Judy Rowland of Summerville, SC; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Flynn of Dunnellon, FL, Pam Cadwallder of Twentynine Palms, CA, Lynette Foster (Wayde) of Cheraw, CO and Keith Doak (Patty) of Fowler, CO. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, & cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Calendar River of Life Fellowship of Ordway (411 E 9th St, Ordway, CO 81063). A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM.
