He is survived by: his children, Paul Tafoya (Celina) of La Junta, Michael Tafoya (Lorrine) of Pueblo West and Amy Tafoya of La Junta, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Trey Gonzales, Julian, Lily Tafoya and Rachel Tafoya. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Peacock Memorial Chapel (401 Raton Ave, La Junta, CO 81050). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the River of Life Fellowship of Ordway (411 E 9th St, Ordway, CO 81063).
