He was predeceased by: his father John Edward Pitt; his sister Joyce Pitt; and his grandparents, Edward, Beluah Edwards, Vincent and Velma Pitt.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Anne Edwards of Paonia; his wife Angela Pitt of Paonia; his daughter Kayla Rouse (Corey) of Cedaredge; his grandchildren, Jaycee, Kendal and Eli; and his siblings, Yvonne Hinton (Mike) of Paonia, Kenneth Pitt (Susan) of Paonia and Daniel Pitt of Lyman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
