It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Douglas Coburn of Paonia, Colorado, born in Huntingburg, Indiana, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Chester Morris Coburn and Joann Taylor Funk. He is survived by : his significant other Toni Holgate Coburn of Paonia, Colorado; his daughters, Sheridan Coburn of Grand Junction, Christa Coats of Grand Junction, Ellie Westover (Tim) of Ft. Collins, Cassidy Lord (Mike) of Athens and Kara Kennick (Josh) of Hotchkiss, Colorado; his siblings, Kim May (John Paul) of Hartford, David Coburn (Renee) of Hartford and Clay Coburn (Kelly) of Beaver Dam; his stepmother Dortha "Dot" Coburn of Owensboro; and his friend Kenny Newcom (Susie) of Beaver Dam.
