With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Edward MacKey of Parachute, Colorado, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Edward left this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Mackey and Ruby Mackey; and his brother-in-law Carlos Pulido. He is survived by: his wife Connie Mackey; his siblings, Dennis Mackey (Judy) and Tammy Pulido; his sons, Derrick (Carla) and Christopher Mackey; and his stepchildren, Christopher Ogan and Randee Berry (Ryan). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Berry Residence (14927 Redwood Pass Dr, Bakersfield, CA 93314).
