“Alice was my "Colorado Mom", since my own mother lived in Illinois. She was such a blessing to our family, especially since I was a young mother without blood relatives in Colorado. My husband, David Anderson, passed away suddenly and tragically in November 1984, and Alice helped me through my grief in a way only a mother could. Her daughter, Cindy, was my best friend at the time. I wish I had kept in touch with all of them over the years. My name is now Shannon Morgan.”
