He was predeceased by: his father Alonso Morin Garza; his grandparents, Filiberto Villarreal and Lorine May Dicken Villarreal; and his sister Ada Hampton. He is survived by: his mother Alma V. Peralez (Villarreal); his siblings, Arturo Garza (Chayo), Alma Lyra (Absalon), Anna Rivera (Ferman), Alba Cervantes and Alfa Soliz (Simon); his half-sister Celia V. Peralez; his wife Mei-Jong Lin of Parker, Colorado; his daughter Teresa; his grandson Seth; his grandson-in-law Brian Taylor; his daughter Maria; his grandchildren, Ella, Eric and Ethan; his grandson-in-law Ken Swift; his granddaughter Angela Garza; and his great grandchildren, Piper of Parker, Colorado. and Valori (Emily Brown) of Parker, Colorado.. He is also survived by three daughters, their spouses and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
