He is survived by: his mother Kim Monica Kack Maurer (Brian) of Littleton, Colorado; his wife Summer Smith Maurer; his brother Shaun Maurer of Loveland, Colorado; his stepsiblings, Makenzie Feldhacker (John) of Hawarden, Iowa and Bryce Raber of Grand Junction, Colorado; his nephew Kenneth Maurer of Colorado; and his brother Justin Farris (Olivia) of Littleton, Colorado..
