She was predeceased by: her sister Ann Hope. She is survived by: her husband Leon Gates, Jr.; her children, Judith (Kent), Philip (Janice), Mark (Maria) and Pat (Kelly); her grandchildren, Brittany (Wade), Bryce (Hannah), Drake (Rachel), Matthew (Annelise), Megan (Luke), Mia, Ryan (Jenna) and Tara; and her great grandchildren, Liam, Liviya, Ezra, Aiden and Skylar.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation - Southeast Denver/Aurora (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014). A Mass was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ave Maria Catholic Church (9056 E Parker Rd, Parker, CO 80138). A burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Logan Cemetery (4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236).
