He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Messenger and Elizabeth Messenger; his grandmother Bertha Mullare; and his daughters, Pam and Karen.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his siblings, Tom Messenger and Nannette Colaizzi; his siblings' children, Kevin Messenger, Tony Messenger (Marla), Scott Winkle (Betty), Stacy Tabor (Scott) and Julea Carothers (Rick); his grandchildren, Brad (Melanie), Cristal (Steve), Andrew (Stephanie), Alisha, Kyler (Ellanore), Bethany, Samantha (Ryland), Brewer (Sidney), Spencer (Bel), Briggs (Madi), Drew (Celeste), Kaylea (Zac), Ashlea (Travis) and Bailea; and his great grandchildren, Alysah, Leah, Ava, Emilio, Alejandro, Adrian, Julian, Emma, Maggie, Olivia, Sienna, Victoria, Caro and Rowan.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Ave Maria Catholic Church (9056 E Parker Rd, Parker, CO 80138). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, tax-deductible donations are encouraged to benefit the Samaritan House Homeless Shelter, a division of Catholic Charities that has been supported by generations of the Messenger family.
