He was predeceased by: his son David Jackson; and his parents, Ellis Loyce and Luda Pearl Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Twila Jackson; his daughter Beth Ann Goetz; his stepsons, Scott McBride (Elona), Robert Morris, Charles Bond (Traci) and Matthew Bond (Maggie); and his siblings, Shirley Williamson and Ellis "Buddy" Jackson Jr. (Joyce).
