He was predeceased by : his father William R. Brown; his brother Ricky T. Brown; his father-in-law Fernando L. Montez Sr.; his niece Shannon Brown; and his grandfather Mallory.

He is survived by : his wife Yvette; his mother Sandra Brown; his siblings, William Brown (Debbie) and Denise Brown (Wayne); his children, Ashlye Scott, Krystle Morris (Nate), Brittany Sisneros (Tom) and Tiffany Vrell (Andy); his grandchildren, Payton Morris, Aubrey Sisneros, Brynlee Morris, Greyson Vrell, Presley Vrell and Adelynn Sisneros; his mother-in-law Minerva Montez; and his brother-in-law Fernando Montez (Dana). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
